No installer required

Looking for an NBT editor download? Open one instead.

Chunkweave runs directly in your browser. There is no desktop package to install, no account to create, and no world-file upload to wait for.

Files are parsed and rebuilt locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to Chunkweave.

Start in three steps

The editor loads in the browser you already use.

1. Choose a file

Select a supported .nbt, .dat, .mca, .mcr, or .schematic file from your device.

2. Stage edits

Inspect the typed tree, change values, reorder supported tags, and review what differs from the opened file.

3. Download a copy

Rebuild the edited structure locally and save the result as a separate file through your browser.

What “no download” means

The tool stays online. Your edited file downloads locally.

The application code loads as a website, while the Minecraft file remains on your device. When you finish, the result is generated in the browser for you to download.

  • No desktop installer
  • No account requirement
  • No cloud file library
  • Separate-copy export
Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I download Chunkweave as a desktop app?

No. Chunkweave is currently a browser-based NBT editor and does not offer a Windows, macOS, or Linux desktop installer.

Can I use the editor without creating an account?

Yes. The current release does not require an account, login, payment, or cloud storage to open a supported local file.

What does the Download copy button do?

It rebuilds the edited data in your browser and downloads a separate file. It does not download or install the Chunkweave application.

Will the website replace my original file?

No. A website cannot silently overwrite the source file you selected. Chunkweave exports a new copy that you can review and place manually.

Ready when your file is

Inspect the structure before you change it.

Open a supported Minecraft Java Edition file, stage edits, and export a separate copy without sending world data to a server.
